I Get it... I'm a Busy Mom, Just Like You!
I was a fat kid growing up, I still remember having to "clean my plate" before I could be excused from the dinner table.

I continued to struggle with my weight throughout high school and then college.
In 2003, I finally got my weight under control with the help of my, now, husband, I finally felt like I was in the driver’s seat.

I had overcome this "thing", I was in control.
I looked good, my clothes fit great and I felt like I was in the best shape of my life...

Because, honestly, I really was!

I mean... I felt AWESOME!!!

But, after the birth of my daughter I felt I was back at square one. I ended up gaining back some of the weight I had been able to keep off for 10+ years.

My clothes were tighter.

I was tired... always.

I just didn't feel like myself anymore.

I knew I needed to do something about it, but as a new mom and the co-owner of a small business - finding time was a huge obstacle.
On Top Of All That, I Felt SOOO NOT SEXY...
Finally, enough was enough, I decided I had to get back to my previous self.

At the time my husband and I owned a gym, so I know what you're thinking...

It should have been easy for me to get back in shape.  I should be able to just go workout anytime I wanted!

Um... yeah, not with a newborn!

While I was home with the baby, he was working double time - we both were stretched to our limits. 

Then the weirdest thing started to happen...

When I was able to get away and workout I felt this overwhelming sense of guilt, despite knowing that being in better shape would give more energy, making it easier to take care of my new bundle of joy.

But, I knew I had to get over it and stop neglecting my self-care.
So, I gave myself 30 minutes a day...
I needed to the workouts at home so I limited the equipment to some resistance bands, a few random dumbbells, the occasional kettlebell my own bodyweight.

Now, in my head I'm thinking, "Come on, Kori, this is too simple to work."

Well, it worked and it worked really well. Not only was my body transforming, but I was creating this whole new mindset!

I call this time my "Sweatpants to Skinny Jeans" transformation, it here I realized FEELING sexy was more important than killing myself only to be disappointed by the scale trying to my pre-baby body.

Sure, getting stronger, losing body fat and becoming as healthy as possible so you can take care of those you love IS important.

After all, it's what motivated me to get moving in the beginning.
But... Most of all, I realized REALLY missed feeling sexy and confident.
I want that feeling for you, too.

This is the very reason I decided to created and share my Train Like A Girl program!
